How your assistant learns
Your assistant learns from your website, files you add, text you write and answers you teach it. Everything is in Knowledge in Corner.
It answers only from you
The assistant answers only from what you gave it. When your pages don't say something, it tells the visitor it doesn't know and offers to take their details or bring in your team. It never guesses prices, opening hours, availability, stock, policies or contact details, and each answer shows the page it came from.
It replies in the language the visitor writes in, even when your website is in one language. It keeps to your business: it won't do homework, write code or answer general knowledge questions for visitors.
Your website
Type your website address and Corner reads it, usually in about a minute. Choose The whole website to follow links from page to page (and your sitemap), or a single page.
- How many pages: up to 100 on Free, 500 on Starter, 2,000 on Builder, 5,000 on Studio.
- Re-reading: daily, weekly (the default) or off, so answers follow changes on your site. Read again re-reads it now, in a minute or two.
- Websites built with JavaScript (Lovable, React, Vue and similar) are opened in a real browser so their content is read too.
- PDFs linked from your site are read as well, and so are FAQ sections that open and close, and content in tabs.
- Skipped: login, cart, checkout and account pages, search results, pages marked noindex, and other websites.
- Leave pages out: any page in the list can be left out, so it's never used or read again.
- Corner's reader is called CornerBot and follows your robots.txt. If your site blocks it, allow CornerBot or add the content as text.
- Pages removed from your site are dropped at the next full re-read.
Files
Add PDF, Word (.docx), text, Markdown and CSV files, up to 20 MB each: menus, price lists, brochures, policies. Each assistant can hold 5 files on Free, 10 on Starter, 50 on Builder and 200 on Studio.
Scanned PDFs with no text in them, and password-protected files, can't be read. CSV files are read up to 5,000 rows.
Text
Write or paste anything your website doesn't say, up to 100,000 characters: delivery areas, booking rules, what's new this week. It's used within a minute.
Teach it what it missed
Unanswered lists the questions your assistant couldn't answer, grouped by meaning, with how many people asked. Write the answer once and it covers every wording; the assistant uses it within a minute, in your words. You can add a link to a page with more detail, or ignore a question that doesn't need an answer.
Help articles you publish in Corner are used as knowledge too.
Instructions
Tell the assistant how to behave:
- tone: friendly, professional or playful
- answer length: short, medium or detailed
- topics it must never talk about
- when to offer a person, and when to ask for contact details
- anything else, in your own words
Test it
Ask your assistant anything in Knowledge > Test before visitors do. Test answers don't use your monthly conversations; there is a daily number of them on each plan.
